FAQs

The car’s vehicle identification number (VIN) is the identifying code for a SPECIFIC automobile. The VIN serves as the car’s fingerprint, as no two vehicles in operation have the same VIN. A VIN is composed of 17 characters (digits and capital letters) that act as a unique identifier for the vehicle. A VIN displays the car’s unique features, specifications and manufacturer. The VIN can be used to track recalls, registrations, warranty claims, thefts and insurance coverage.

The VIN can be found by looking at the dashboard on the driver’s side of the vehicle. The easiest way to view it is to stand outside the vehicle on the driver’s side and look at the corner of the dashboard where it meets the windshield. If the VIN cannot be found there, open the driver’s side door and look at the door post (where the door latches when it is closed). It is likely that the VIN will also be displayed in this location.

A universal part is not a direct part, which means that its specifications (measurements, alignments) are not exactly the same as the one your car requires. It will fit any year, make, and model, but you might need to do some modifications to the part in order to make it fit. This applies to non-accessory items like body parts, brake parts, suspension parts, etc.

To make sure that the universal part will fit your car exactly, take note of your car’s specs carefully before making any modifications. Most of our products come with detailed, easy-to-follow instructions to help you make the necessary adjustments correctly.

If you would like to call and speak to one of our experts, please have your invoice number ready so we can quickly find your file. Your invoice number is located on the confirmation page that was packaged with your part. If you provided an email address, this number can also be found in your confirmation emails

At times the vehicle manufacturer may have made several different parts for a certain vehicle of a certain year. For an example, your car may have heavy duty or light duty brakes, and to send you the right part, we may need the 8th or 10th digit from your vin number to accurately ship the part.

In the rare case that your part is defective, we can ship you out a replacement auto part the same day in exchange for a temporary deposit. This deposit is to ensure that you send back your defective part and is fully refunded once it arrives back at our warehouse. We will also provide you with a free return shipping label to get the other part back to us
